Will have to be there a half hour early for a meeting. For example, 1:30pm for second shift.

Summary:
The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
Job Responsibilities:
Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Skills:
Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or 2 year technical degree.
2-4 Years Experience Required.
Powertrain engine site. Precision machining components for blocks, heads, and cranks.
Purpose of our team is producing high quality engine components.
Will do a cross over with the previous shift leader. Will examine the manpower and distribute their schedule for the day. Will do problem solving, approve pay, weekly performance audits. Must work with the union.
Interaction level maintenance and engineering leadership, global supply chain material delivery team, quality, and lead X (housekeeping)
Climate controlled environment will manage up to 30 people.
Associate degree or 2 year technical degree.
2-4 years’ experience required.
Machining experience must have. The familiarity of understanding how the CNC/ machine line operates is a must have.
