We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Product Research Associate to join our client's team!
In this role, you will focus on the research and development of products from conception to retail, ensuring they meet the needs of our client's accounts and consumers. You will carry out foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics, supporting the overall innovation agenda to create functionally superior and creative products. You will utilize biomechanical and physiological equipment to conduct cutting-edge experiments, collect data, and contribute to the development of new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day logistics and support data collection & analysis for sports research programs.
Interact with researchers, athletes, and other staff to communicate study details, troubleshoot equipment, and provide updates.
Oversee inventory management of research tools and products.
Summarize and visualize data from research.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
Experience level: Entry Level
Minimum 1 year of experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Biomechanical, Data Analysis).
Experience with Python and Excel.
Background in motion capture systems and wearables.
Familiarity with biomechanics, performance research, wearable sensors, motion capture, and force plates.
Experience with data processing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab preferred.
High level of initiative and ability to perform tasks independently.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Exposure to industry research preferred.
