Product Development /Pre Production Fabric Sourcing Assistant

Seeking coordinator who has a solid understanding of textiles and can coordinate/execute various department calendars to ensure deadlines are being met.

Duties:

• Fabric sourcing/development and distributing/executing fabric WIP updates, Centric updates, to internal teams

• Oversees accuracy and timely management of workload and updates for New Fabrics across all divisions.

• Helps to construct Fabric/Trim Assistant(s) weekly job duties

• Manages the BV Fabric Test Tracking List, Target Production Costing/ Quality list and oversees Fabric Development Assistant / Fabric Compliance inputs updates.

• Oversees training Fabric Development Assistant to maintain invoicing & Billing

• Creates project calendars and status updates, approvals, and feedback to ensure the Fabric team meets deadlines.

• Monitor , analyze workflows across the divisions for consistency

• Extract and create reports analyze data as needed to ensure goals are met.

• Onboard, train, and troubleshoot all fabric employees on new projects/programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) Centric, A2000 +

• Knowledge and understanding of the product development process

• Team player, self-starter

• Effective organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication skills
