Private Equity Analyst - Luxury Goods (Hybrid/Remote)

Position Overview: As a Private Equity Analyst specializing in luxury goods, you will play a crucial role in our investment team, conducting in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to support investment decisions. You will work closely with senior team members to evaluate potential investments, manage existing portfolio companies, and drive value creation initiatives within the luxury goods sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess potential investments and support transaction execution.
  • Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities within the luxury goods market.
  • Assist in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, conducting company visits, and analyzing operational metrics.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for operational improvement and growth acceleration.
  • Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and market position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on consumer goods or luxury sectors preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Location and Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement, allowing flexibility in location. Occasional travel may be required for company visits and meetings.
