We have an opportunity to join our Creative Team as a Print Production Studio Artist to help worthwhile clients achieve their missions. As a Studio Artist at THD, you will be part of an integrated team that develops highly effective multichannel creative for marketing and fundraising campaigns. You will work alongside Designers, Creative Directors, and Writers, along with Production and Account Management professionals, to bring fundraising strategies to life. As a Studio Artist, you will prepare electronic artwork for print vendors, ensure packages are produced properly, and meet the needs of the Account Teams and clients. In addition, there will be opportunities to help execute various design pieces.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Designers, as well as Account Management and Production Teams on an ongoing basis for direct-mail layouts
  • Prepare final press-ready (InDesign) files based on supplied specifications for print (sizes, colors, fonts, etc.)
  • Provide flats, PDFs, and/or mock-ups for review with internal teams at various phases of production
  • Accurately maintain client files


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality, able to manage changing priorities, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship skills


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years’ experience in production/graphic design, preferably in marketing with database marketing/fundraising preferred
