What Duties Will The Employee Perform
The engineer will be involved in the latency measurement and NGR projects. In particular, the employee will work on access technologies (CPE, DOCSIS, DAA, PON, etc) which include system architecture and testing that enable the successful creation of system requirement documents, design documents, migration strategies, strategic roadmaps, and proof of concepts for those projects.
The selected candidate will join a dynamic team of architects and engineers innovating clients future networks. The candidate will be responsible for research, architecture, and engineering activities that maintain and enhance the company's telecommunications hardware, software, and services. Collaborates with product, engineering, and operation teams to create technical requirements for newly proposed products and services and deliver proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the proposed technologies and works with the teams to deploy these technologies.
The candidate must have a working knowledge in various access technologies including HFC DAA, DOCSIS, PON, mobile and Wi-Fi networks. The required skills for the above access technologies include system architecture and testing that enable the successful creation of system requirement documents, design documents, migration strategies, strategic roadmaps, and proof of concepts. The position also requires knowledge in networking principles, including IPv4/IPv6 routing, TCP/IP, UDP protocols.
