Position Title: MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Hybrid from Charlotte metro area

Reports To: Senior Marketing Manager


General Summary:

Company is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join the team as the marketing project manager. The responsibilities of the marketing project manager include working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to develop marketing campaigns, delegating tasks to project team members, and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget.

To be successful as a marketing project manager, you should have strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Must have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. Ultimately, a top-notch marketing project manager should have excellent project management, analytical, and decision-making skills. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.


Essential Job Functions:

1. Manage Project Needs and day-to-day Creative Requests

• Work with internal resources and agencies to manage marketing projects/campaigns from beginning to end. Must track and report on progress and completion to ensure that expectations are met.

• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

• Manage creative requests from other departments. Work with Senior Marketing Manager to determine what requests are appropriate for the business and the brand. Delegate the appropriate resources and manage deadlines and budget.

• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Company, our products and services, and our customer base to implement effective marketing campaigns.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new competitors that will impact Company and make recommendations to proactively adjust Company’s marketing approach.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors to ensure the best ROI for Company.


2. Execution of all Internal and Customer Incentive programs

• Work closely with the sales leaders to obtain internal incentive qualifiers, as well as customer incentives, in a timely manner.

• Work with accounting and our outside vendors to fulfill incentive prizes and gift cards within the determined timeframe.


3. Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute the go-to-market strategy by outlining and managing the necessary tasks. Ensure adherence to the strategy by all project stakeholders. Work alongside Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve Company’s revenue growth objectives.

• Work with Market Development and the Senior Marketing Manager to identify and prioritize target market segments, channels, and customer segments for marketing initiatives.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-3 years telecommunications experience preferred.

-Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field preferred.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

-Experience with project management theory and best practices.

-Proficient knowledge of telecommunication products and services including video, voice, internet, and home automation/home security.

-Must be able to work accurately with various office equipment such as personal computer, software programs, telephone systems and related business processes

-Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

-Strong analytical skills.

-Ability to interpret information and make sound decisions using information at hand. Must be able to work efficiently with or without supervision

-Must be a team player

-Must maintain superior attendance and promptness.


Education and Experience:

Four-year college degree preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite.Comfortable learning new software platforms. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or SCRUM Master Certification is a plus.


Working Conditions:

Good working conditions in an office environment. May be required to travel to other market areas, possibly overnight. May be required to work an occasional weekend or evening depending on the needs of the business. Must have reliable transportation, possess valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
