About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java and Python programming languages, along with experience working with Databricks for data engineering tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements for software development projects
- Design and develop scalable and high-performance full-stack applications using Java and Python
- Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and data processing pipelines using Databricks
- Implement front-end interfaces using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported in production environments
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in full-stack development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages
- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with Databricks for data engineering tasks including ETL processes, data visualization, and machine learning
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Previous experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects
