Junior Financial Analyst

Title: Jr. Financial Analyst

Location: Duluth, GA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months +

Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning Department in providing financial support to the Information Technology and Human Resources functions. The Financial Analyst will play a supporting role, working closely with business leaders to develop financial forecasts, analyze performance, and provide relevant and reliable financial data for decision-making. This position reports to the Global Business Services (GBS) Controller. As a member of the corporate planning team, there will be close liaison with the functional and regional finance teams.

What you will do:

o Support GBS controller with budget and forecast activities including uploading cost center data

o Monthly operating expense reporting, helping to identify variances from forecasted, budgeted, and benchmarked performance

o Prepare timely and insightful financial analyses and present findings for review and decision-making

o Partner with business leaders on development and tracking of project spend

o Capital Expenditure planning, management, and reporting for assigned business functions

o Headcount analysis and reporting

o Look for cost reduction opportunities

o Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as needed

What you will bring:

o Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

o Minimum of 1 year of related finance experience

o Must have proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills

o Understanding of financial theories as well as accounting principles and concepts

o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

o Team player and able to develop relationships

o Effective verbal and written communication skills

A plus if you have:

o Experience within farm machinery or automotive industry

o Experience with OneStream and SAP
