Instructional Designer Role 1

Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer (Remote)

  • Duration: 6 Months
  • Location: Remote (ability to attend scheduled meetings required)
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Job Summary

  • As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, you will design and build learning assets and create interactive e-Learning products using digital and e-Learning applications.
  • Your role includes designing evaluation strategies to validate learning outcomes and assisting in developing criterion-referenced tests.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of training design experience, including leading training program design efforts. Experience with complex content and designing training for various delivery modalities (classroom, online, self-paced e-Learning).
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills, and broad knowledge of instructional technologies.
  • Tools Expertise: In-depth experience in Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Character Animator.

Responsibilities

  • Apply instructional design theory to design course content in collaboration with project leads and subject matter experts.
  • Create and refine learning programs incorporating modern learning practices in an agile environment.
  • Use adult learning theory to select appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience characteristics and content.
  • Develop complex digital programs and applications.
  • Review program evaluations, learning metrics, and participant feedback to recommend program improvements.
  • Design evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness and achieve desired learning outcomes.
