Job Description
We are seeking an individual to join our team in the role of Graphic Designer and Digital Press Operator. You will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes, digital press operations, and website development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and possess good communication skills.
The position is a full-time, first shift, on-site position. Previous experience preferred.

We serve customers in diverse industries by supplying them with high-end front panels, graphic overlays, and membrane switches for the user interfaces of their products. Each part we manufacture on their behalf is customized to their specifications. Our manufacturing processes include digital printing, screen printing, digital cutting, CNC machining, fiber laser cutting, press brake bending, surface finishing, and part inspection. Because everything is manufactured in-house we can verify registration between layers and provide our customers with a functional and visually stunning product that adheres to their specifications. Our employees enjoy seeing varied parts in low to medium runs. This workflow allows for variety, flexibility, and the development of new ideas.

Key Responsibilities
- Artwork File Production (Adobe Illustrator)
- Create print files for manufacturing processes, ensuring dimensional accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
- Communicate with customers to provide proofs for approval and verify design details.
- Process approved designs for subsequent printing and cutting steps.
- Digital Press Operation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance procedures on digital printers.
- Process production print files through RIP software systems, such as ColorGATE and Fiery XF.
- Verify print quality, color accuracy, and dimensional accuracy.
- Manage inventory of print supplies such as substrates and inks.
- Coordinate with subsequent manufacturing steps for order completion.
- WordPress Website Development
- Maintain and update WordPress website hosted by Kinsta.
- Update plugins and ensure website functionality and security.
- Develop and implement plans for blog/vlog integration to enhance SEO.
- Collaborate on expanding website to include ecommerce capabilities.
- Manage Google Ads account, optimizing keywords and search terms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with skills in layer management, dimension adjustments, color management (CMYK and spot colors), and PDF file export.
- Experience in digital color management and operation of digital printers.
- Use of a spectrophotometer.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of WordPress website structure, Elementor website builder, blog organization, ecommerce user experience
- Knowledge of SEO principles, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Ability to communicate via email.
- Use of spreadsheets and word processing applications.
- Strong team-player mentality and clear communication skills.
