Role: Functional Tester

Location: Chicago, IL (Day-one onsite)

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Job Description

  • Work in QA Test/Program Management with direct reporting to a Functional Test Lead
  • Review and understand Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Technical Specifications
  • Write Test Plans based on requirements/specifications and review with lead
  • Design, write and execute test cases for all supported applications and change requests
  • Document test results and update Team management
  • Work effectively with other testers, developers and business analysts to ensure projects are properly tested and defects are resolved
  • Communicate status, metrics and progress of testing effort to project management team
  • Support during the UAT with test plans and test data
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment
