The Document Management AnalystI shall be responsible providing scanning support services and reviewing each incoming document package submitted for ADAMS processing to determine and assign the appropriate RIDS Code.
Track and verify the return of all paper documents provided to the contractor after processing has been completed (i.e., image processing, text processing, indexing, and distribution, if appropriate)
Receive and process all documents submitted in electronic form under the NRC Electronic Information Exchange initiative in accordance with the DPC SOP manual
Perform routine maintenance and update activities on DPC scanning hardware and software applications
Work in coordination with NRC network infrastructure technical staff to support DPC scanning software applications
Provide various levels of scanning services:
For simple scanning, scan documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requestor
Normal scanning is performed on paper documents that are received for regular processing
For expedited scanning, scan documents and send the scanned image (or its location in ADAMS) to the requestor within 4 hours from the time of receipt
For complex scanning services, scan portions of documents and packages with electronic portions of the document
Create up to 5,000 scanned images from paper documents received from the DCD or the NRC staff each workday
Process e-RIDS in accordance of contract requirements;
Code and file documents in an extensive alphabetical file,
Assist with publishing publicly available documents/packages to the agency’s public website.
Assist with publishing a minimum of 380 documents/packages to the agency’s website daily, in accordance with DPC SOP manual.
Open and run mail through metering machines, and calculate and post charges to departmental accounts.
Assist with additional projects involving scanning, copying, and/or printing multiple types of documents.
Perform other clerical work as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one (1) year experience in a production control operation, supporting document production organization, or similar is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
US Military/ Federal Government experience Preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Acrobat
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Ability to obtain a DOE IT Level I clearance
