This position will be responsible for leading a team of QA Automation Engineers, motivating them to test and release a high quality, scalable, and secure software application. The ideal candidate will be just as passionate about building great teams as they are about building great software and will constantly be looking for ways to drive engagement, quality, and improve outcomes.
We are seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by providing solar companies with innovative software.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily activities of a distributed QA team.
Responsible for quality signoff, and releases on a scheduled cadence.
Work closely with our engineering teams to deliver quality software in an Agile environment.
Take ownership of defect tracking and resolution using Jira.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and ensure software quality meets their needs.
Own and manage test automations, acceptance tests and regression tests.
Perform all duties of a direct supervisor for each team member, including resource planning, weekly one-on-ones, quarterly performance check ins, and annual reviews.
