Join our team as a Compliance Director, where you will be pivotal in ensuring our organization adheres to healthcare regulations and standards. You'll develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures, keeping us aligned with Joint Commission, HIPAA, and accreditation requirements.

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to staff on compliance topics.
  • Conduct regular audits and monitoring activities.
  • Identify and address areas of compliance risk.
  • Investigate potential compliance violations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations departments.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • Continuously improve the compliance program based on industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in compliance or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs.
  • Preferred: Certification in compliance (e.g., CHC, CCEP).

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional travel to other company locations or regulatory meetings.
  • Conduct physical inspections or audits as needed.
  • Effective communication in person and electronically.
