Seeking a junior level Civil Engineer for a direct hire opening with our client.
Hybrid work schedule in Mansfield, PA.
As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be focusing on erosion control, stormwater management, and related environmental engineering activities. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, creativity, and teamwork to design and implement effective solutions for clients in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and analysis of projects related to hydrology and hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management.
Participate in grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans for various energy projects.
Support senior engineers in the upfront permitting process, including preparing permit applications and documentation for regulatory approval.
Conduct field investigations and assessments to gather data for project design and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental scientists and project managers, to ensure project goals are met.
Utilize engineering software tools for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and design.
Ensure all project documentation is maintained according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Entry-level to 2-6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation controls, and stormwater management.
Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes, especially those related to the energy industry, is preferred.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Land Development and GIS experience is preferred
