Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team post-Series A funding. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's operations. This includes financial planning, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and financial reporting. The Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support growth and expansion
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting
• Lead fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and assist in securing necessary funding for future project development
• Establish and monitor financial controls and risk management frameworks
• Provide strategic financial insight to guide decision-making and resource allocation
• Collaborate with external partners, auditors, and regulatory bodies on financial matters

Qualifications & Attributes

• Strong financial planning and financial analysis skills
• Experience in preparing and interpreting financial statements
• Expertise in finance and financial management
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Proficiency in financial reporting
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred

Compensation: 

This position will commence only after successful Series A funding. Compensation will include a competitive salary and an equity stake in the company, reflecting the candidate’s role as an early team member. Details of compensation will be outlined in the agreement upon joining.

This position requires a commitment to join as a key member of our team pending successful Series A funding. We value transparency and will work closely with the selected candidate to formalize terms in alignment with our funding timeline.
