** Buyer / Sourcing Professional** **Job Category****:** Operations **Requisition Number****:** BUYER01650 Showing 1 location **Job Details** **Description** **Position Description** Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and class C items, and a provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide and we are seeking a professionalwith **Buyer and Sourcing** experience to join our team to provide world class customer service and support to key accounts. In this role (Buyer/Sourcing Position) you will purchase parts to maintain appropriate inventory levels, identify sources based on total cost, quality, delivery and service, coordinate RFQs for new item quotation, coordinate with local team, and deliver parts as scheduled at lowest total cost. **Essential Functions**

• Obtain quotes in a timely fashion.
• Review current spending to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate suppliers for the lowest overall supply cost.
• Exhibit ethical and fair relationships with suppliers at all times (supplier feedback/incidence level).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in a timely manner.
• Replenish appropriate inventory levels according to the inventory model on a daily basis.
• Maintain actual on-hand inventory at all times.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Endries International **The individual that will be successful in this role will hold a bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience. They will be able to multi-task, meet quotation deadlines, negotiate, analyze bids and term, select supplier, communicate effectively (oral and written), & have a sense of urgency to customer service (internal/external). Candidate must be technically capable (Outlook, Word, Excel) and have strong attention to detail!
