Position Overview:


Astria Therapeutics is dedicated to bringing hope with life-changing therapies to patients and families affected by allergic and immunological diseases. Astria’s pipeline includes our lead program, STAR-0215, a monoclonal antibody inhibitor of plasma kallikrein in clinical development for the treatment of hereditary angioedema, as well as STAR-0310, an OX40 monoclonal antibody antagonist currently in pre-clinical development for atopic dermatitis (AD) and being explored for other allergic and immunological diseases.


The Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technical Operations team is seeking an accomplished supply chain professional to join the team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing and executing the Commercial Supply Chain needs in support of commercial product launch initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing packaging and label design, managing vendor relationships, and leading demand planning for commercial distribution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in commercial supply chain management, ready to drive excellence in a team first and patient-centric environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a later phase asset with opportunity to collaborate across Astria’s pipeline.


Responsibilities:


  • Partner across the organization to assess and deliver Supply Chain plans and inventories used to support commercial supplies.
  • Ability to engage across the business and provide inventory oversight to support the commercial forecasting process.
  • Responsible for maintaining oversight of inventory supply and shipments. Proven ability to generate reports and metrics to ensure supply needs are being met to support clinical operations.
  • Co-ordinate and manage vendor relationships with external partners including CDMO, CMO, Consultants, IRT, CRO, etc…
  • Play a key role in project management with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and help drive consensus.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
  • Proven experience driving product commercialization, packaging design, development and contributing to product launch.
  • Experience partnering closely with product team to support medical device packaging and labeling
  • Desire and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Quality, Supply Chain, Artwork, Serialization, Manufacturing, Regulatory, etc.) in pre-commercial and commercial activities.
  • Experience partnering with Regulatory on flings (e.g., NDA, BLA, MAA) or Regulatory Requirements for clinical material (e.g., IND, IMPD, CTA) preferred.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining hosted IRT systems preferred.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 + years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience in supply chain management including 3+ years of experience in commercial, supply planning, inventory planning & packaging/label design.
  • Strong working knowledge of the drug development process (Phase I-III), cGMPs, and CMC functions
  • Experience with labeling, packaging and distribution including cold chain, importing and exporting
  • Experience coordinating and managing global CDMO partnerships.
