We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to partner with our Creative Director to lead our design practice and oversee all aspects of our design projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a boutique organization focused on delivering the best in creative.
Oversee all aspects of design projects, including concept development, design execution, and final delivery, ensuring that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and creativity
Concept, design and art direct various projects ranging from brand identity systems to advertising campaigns and websites
Participate in a robust exploration of creative and design directions in response to project briefs
Lead and manage creative brainstorms and projects with minimal direction and oversight
Present creative ideas to internal team, clients and partners
Mentor junior team members and help shape the creative team and its process
Review and recommend the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into the design process as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
5+ years experience in a design role at an agency with a degree in design, and 1+ years of management experience
A strong portfolio that demonstrates mastery of design fundamentals and diversity of work across channels
Excellent written and verbal communicator with a strong aesthetic sensibility
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment and comfortable working through ambiguity
Entrepreneurial spirit, conceptually driven with a desire to build and make beautiful things
Prior experience managing teams and cultivating creative talent
Able to commute into NYC office at least 1-2 days per week
