TITLE: GAME MANAGER

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Sale, control, and reporting of admission tickets. The Athletic Director handles Student/Adult Activity tickets.
  • Rotate with Athletic Director all general supervision and responsibility, including opening, closing and set-up of gymnasium/field for athletic events.
  • Physical arrangements at all playing fields (field preparations, clean-up and maintenance) shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent of the Buildings and Grounds.

Specific Tasks Include

  • Opening the ticket booth after picking up moneybox and tickets from the Athletic Director’s office.
  • Making certain that scoring tables, PA system, and scoreboard controls are set up.
  • Making certain that bleachers are pulled out.
  • Making certain floor and seats have been dusted by the janitorial staff.
  • Having officials sign game sheets.
  • Having other workers sign game sheets for payroll.
  • Remaining on campus throughout the events (covering for all events going on simultaneously at different sites) on a rotating basis with Athletic Director.
  • Collecting gate receipts for deposit and give to the Athletic Director.
