Accounting Analyst

Our client is in search of an Accounting Analyst. This position will report to the Financial Reporting Supervisor with shared responsibilities across all finance areas. This includes all accounting, planning, and reporting functions, as necessary.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain updated corporate books and records for Holding Companies.
• On a regular basis, interact with their Latin America teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts and bank reconciliations, with complete understanding of all outstanding balances. Maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Propose and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting between entities.
• Be highly personable and a proactive individual ready to wear multiple hats and challenge the status-quo.
• MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER.

SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Prefer 2-5 years of experience in accounting or equivalent, preferably in international company setting.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common business goals and objectives.
• Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
• Technical knowledge in USGAAP.
• IFRS knowledge also preferred but not required.
• NetSuite experience preferred but not required.

BEING BILINGUAL IS A BIG PLUS - Being able to read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish.

• Downtown Houston, Texas or The Woodlands, Texas

• The position is full time on site. (not remote or hybrid)
