We need the services of an accountant to be responsible for financial management including maintaining ledgers, financial statement preparation, liaison with tax return preparer and auditors, and oversight of investments. In addition, forensic accounting review of transactions will be required from time to time for financial reporting and litigation needs.
The candidate should have an accounting degree and knowledge of GAAP. It is required that the candidate also have insurance company (not agency) experience and be knowledgeable regarding insurance statutory accounting principles (SAAP).
