CARFAX is growing our video and animation capabilities and is seeking a passionate 3D/Video Generalist to join our award-winning team. Do you love making engaging and fun video content? Are you passionate about animation? This role is responsible for fresh, fun, inspiring video content, and you will also get to bring Car Fox to life in video content for hundreds of millions of people! You will create animated Car Fox content, as well as develop, shoot, and edit inspiring high-energy videos for CARFAX.

What You’ll Be Doing

Bring Car Fox to life

• Utilize a custom animation system for our mascot, Car Fox
• Create animations for short and long-form video, marketing materials, and for integrating into our products
• Use game engines to create real-time VFX
• Integrate 3D assets within motion, editorial, and brand projects
• Excellent sense of scale, timing, detail, lighting, and color
• Bonus: Python, Omniverse, video game coding experience
  
  

Be a creative visionary for the Carfax Brand and Car Fox

• Use your storytelling skills to ideate engaging, unique, and fun video content with internal stakeholders
• Shoot and edit video for a variety of formats (presentations, emails, web, social, etc.)
  
  

Join a multidisciplinary brand team

• Collaborate in a creative space with the team on the execution of both large and small-scale projects
• Work on multiple projects with different departments concurrently
• Join the Brand police - Drive consistent execution of brand guidelines, reinforcing our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years experience in a game studio, VFX house, or in-house creative team
• Experience in multiple aspects of the 3D production pipeline such as modeling, lighting, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, and compositing
• Experience using 3D animation software such as Maya or Blender3D
• Experience shooting with Sony cameras (FX6)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Some travel may be required
