I was worried I would stop learning and developing in my own HR career. But I took a leap of faith, took the job, and it was the right decision!... Not only was Nick an amazing CFO for the company (just ask anyone who worked with him), but I learned something new from Nick everyday. He trusted me and gave me the autonomy to lead the HR function, yet seemed to always know when to step in to provide the necessary guidance, resources, and support when I needed it. It was wonderful to know my manager was always on my side and wanted to see me succeed. It's not everyday you get the opportunity to work with someone who is a great manager, mentor, and also a friend, but that was the experience I had when I worked with and for Nick, and it would be awesome to have that opportunity again. ”
