Here's how you can efficiently handle and rank your time and tasks as a leader.
Often new managers think that they need to do everything for their direct reports, but empowering your employees to be proactive and come up with their solutions, ideas, or perspectives on approaching new projects and tasks builds their confidence and takes other tasks off your plate. Owning certain tasks and projects builds confidence and allows you as a manager to provide feedback for improvement or evaluate that they aren't able to ask for help when needed or need further mentorship on certain tasks versus others. Allow your team to rise to the challenge, they will likely surpass your expectations.

You’re managing a remote team. How do you know if they’re successful?
Leading a remote team isn’t that much different than one in-person or hybrid. Similar to any role at any company, being super clear what success looks like for each of your team members or employees helps set them up for success at the company and within their team. Certain people need more social interaction than others, whether that is accomplished in-person or through weekly team building opportunities. Either way, best practices such as weekly team meetings (or stand ups), 1:1’s and touch points on the status of the current project work is necessary to better support employees no matter what they are focused on.

What are the most effective strategies for distributing your press release to the media?
I agree with Jennifer, relationships are gold for distributing press release, but it is also helpful to share with your investors, funders, partners, and clients to share the progress your company is making on new features, programs or announcements.
