On software development and or integrations projects requesting that communications be screenshot -with arrow/ word overlays- and or video recording -with spoken insights/commentary- based as much as possible rather than written words has been productive in our experience.

On software projects working thru a private -during dev- GitHub repository that both parties have access to has been transformative by enabling real-time insight 24/365 and alert-based notifications each time an update/ commit is made. This keeps working relationship expectations accurate without the need for specific messages calls and or meetings around the project's status.

We have always oriented towards working closely with specific people rather than working with specific organizations. Once you have identified the right "platform partner", it's important to sign a concise detailed contract that outlines the deliverables, time frame, terms, and responsibilities of both parties. In our experience, Both side's willingness to be bound by a specific agreement made up of clear deliverables increases the probability a project will be delivered to a satisfactory level in the end.
