RCTC continues to lead to secure federal funding for transportation improvements across #RiversideCounty. In early March, Representative Ken Calvert secured RCTC’s request for $5 million for Coachella Valley Rail, Representative Young Kim helped lock in $4 million toward the 91 ECOP project in City of Corona, and $500,000 was awarded to the Metrolink Double Track Project on the 91/Perris Valley Line thanks to Representative Mark Takano. This round of federal funding helps bring these vital projects one step closer to construction. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gDpnVS3f

🕒 Since breaking ground in January 2023, the 71/91 Interchange Project has undergone a remarkable transformation and has been a testament to innovation, safety, and collaboration. Over the past year, our dedicated team of project managers, engineers, and construction crews have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this project closer to reality. This steadfast commitment to quality and safety has been the driving force behind the project's continued success. The new connector will improve safety, expand access to other modes of travel and enhance traffic flow. The new interchange is expected to open next year. 🚗🚙 City of Corona Caltrans District 8 #RiversideCounty #Infrastructure
