PSHE Association reposted this
Released today, the second episode of the Fully Human podcast (Tomorrow Is The Question) is a conversation between Professor Harriet Over, Dr David Zendle, myself, and Jono Baggaley looking at the marketing of misogyny online. In our wide-ranging conversation, we discuss: · the online ecosystem of misogyny · the interaction of engagement-driven algorithms, hate-fluencers, adolescent vulnerability, and gender norms · why it’s so hard to know what’s really going on in the ‘manosphere’ and exciting new methods to help us gain a better understanding · the personal costs of delving into this world I hope it’s of interest and use in our collective efforts to tackle this parasitic set of views which are causing so much harm to so many.

📢 Calling all PSHE leads/teachers: submit your response to the draft RSHE guidance consultation by the July 11th deadline. As teachers, it's crucial you have your say in the consultation — given your understanding of the challenges facing children and young people, and of what they need from education to keep them safe, healthy and prepared for modern life. Read our analysis, including serious concerns that it's a step backwards re child safeguarding & wellbeing 👉 https://hubs.la/Q02C-VW70
