A group of Yankees players and coaches joined Dance to Unite Founder Galit Adani and her students, Bronx-native Kid the Wiz and his dance crew, and an array of fellow New Yorkers to create a dance video outside Yankee Stadium 🕺 💙

Yankees players Clay Holmes, Jose Trevino, Tommy Kahnle, Trent Grisham, Victor González, Ian Hamilton, Ron Marinaccio, and Jahmai Jones, along with Pitching Coach Matt Blake, Third Base Coach Luis Rojas, and Bullpen Coach Mike Harkey surprised kids from Experience Camps with arcade games and lunch at Dave & Buster's. During lunch, children from Experience Camps and Yankees players shared their own experiences of navigating grief & loss.

The Yankees join the baseball community in mourning the loss of Willie Mays, who was an iconic figure during a Golden Era of baseball in New York City and simply one of the greatest players that the game will ever see. We offer our deepest condolences to the Mays family, the Giants organization and all who knew him.

For Day 2 of #HOPEweek, we're honoring former Yankees minor league athletic trainers Jon Becker and Mike Sole. Last year, after learning that Mike needed a liver transplant, Jon started a GoFundMe page, which raised over $25,000 to cover Mike’s medical expenses and also spread the word that Mike desperately needed to find a living donor. With the site up and running, it dawned on Jon that he should find out if he was a candidate. Months later — after many doctor visits — Jon and Mike successfully underwent the lifesaving joint procedure. This HOPE Week, we’re teaming up with Donate Life America to help save lives. More than 100,000 people nationwide are waiting for an organ transplant. 1 donor can save up to 8 lives through organ donation. Become an organ donor today: registerme.org/hopeweek
