I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Today, I was inducted into the Forbes CMO Hall of Fame — becoming the first Black person and Black woman to receive the honor (and yes, I immediately called my mom). The 🍒 on top: I also learned this week that I’ve been named one of Business Insider’s most innovative CMOs. 🥹 I vividly remember the first time I saw someone who looked like me in a C-Suite role — it gave me permission to dream bigger than I previously had. While I’m so deeply honored to win these awards, I’m most proud of the impact it can have on little girls like my 8 year old daughter. Nothing is out of reach — if I can do it, so can they. What an incredible way to wrap what’s been a productive week in #Cannes meeting with our phenomenal Autodesk customers (who are the magic🪄✨ behind the powerful ads and campaigns being celebrated at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity), strategizing with key partners, and speaking with journalists about how #AutodeskAI is helping to design and make a better world for us all. 🌎 HUGE thank you Seth Matlins at Forbes, Suzanne Vranica at The Wall Street Journal, Brian Sozzi at Yahoo Finance, Jameson Fleming at ADWEEK, LinkedIn, The Female Quotient, Brand Innovators, Cameron Clarke at The Drum, Media.Monks, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Maximum Effort, Microsoft, Bob Safian at Masters of Scale, and Julia Hood at Business Insider for helping us tell the Autodesk story at Cannes.
