Luminos Fund is seeking an Accra-based Program Analyst to develop teaching and learning materials for foundational literacy and numeracy. Deliverables will include teacher training materials, student assessments, student books, teacher guides, and other tools that support learning within a structured pedagogy format. Oral and written proficiency in at least one of the government-sponsored Ghanaian languages is a requirement. Our 2023 Annual Report spotlights students from across our country programs who have achieved remarkable learning gains! In #Liberia, Luminos student Annie started our program unable to identify letters and ended the school year as a “super reader” in the words of her teacher.   Annie’s progress illustrates the remarkable learning gains in Luminos’ Liberia program, as demonstrated in IDinsight’s randomized controlled trial results. Since 2016, our catch-up #education program has reached more than 23,420 out-of-school children in #Liberia. Meet Hagirso! As an Education Program Coordinator for Luminos in #Ethiopia, Hagirso supports classroom operations, program planning, and monitoring and evaluation to track student learning outcomes. Hagirso has over 10 years of experience actively contributing to the Ministry of Education’s Accelerated Learning Program and the Luminos catch-up education program, and also served as a teacher for over four years in primary and secondary schools. #MeetTheTeamMonday

In the 2023-24 school year, Luminos programs served 59,069 children. To date, our programs have enabled over a quarter of a million out-of-school children to get a second chance at #education.
