About us

Geeky Tech’s mission is to help B2B tech marketers see through SEO agency bull$&!%. We empower people to make better decisions about their marketing budgets by breaking SEO and PPC down into delicious, bite-sized chunks that are oh-so easy to digest. With over 700 tests (and counting) under our belt, we’ve done all the grunt work and given our clients all the glory. Naturally, everything we do is in-house and led by the same geeks you see in our company photos (we're more than just pretty faces). Our B2B technology marketing agency is a no-fluff fly zone and our snake oil-weary readers and clients seem to appreciate the transparency. They don’t just want to understand what SEO is and how it works—they want to know it well enough to either do it themselves or understand when an agency is feeding them a fresh batch of baloney. As for our day jobs, we specialise in SEO for technology companies because we want to help world-changing tech get noticed. We’ve helped tech companies make a real difference to their bottom line and not just their traffic. We teach the fundamentals of SEO on our mostly-monthly podcast, SEO Unfiltered, as well as on our Geek Speak blog.     Did you hear about the recent leak of Google’s Search API documents? It's got everyone in the SEO world clutching their pearls, but what does it all mean? 🦪 Basically, what Google says and what Google does aren't always the same thing! (surprise, surprise) 🥤Here's a condensed version of some of the juiciest parts 🖱It confirm the use of click-centric user signals to influence rankings.
