I am happy to report that after 3 weeks in the field we have over 100 survey responses! We are well on our way. But we are not there yet. We want to hit 160 responses so if you are a Canadian video game developer studio/publisher or distributor please complete our survey. The data will allow us to advocate for you, especially in this difficult period of time. Our job as an industry trade association is to advance the agenda of the video game industry to governments, media and the general public. We can't do this effectively without good data. Last night I did a talk at Bonus Stage Toronto about entering the game industry in these trying times, and how it doesn't hurt to know a few people while you're at it. I'm thankful for the opportunity, glad I did it, and can't wait for future me to inevitably cringe at this as I get better at talks. Special thank you to Ryan Sno-Wood, Jess Ho, and Jason Lepine of XP Gaming Inc. for all of their help getting me into the games industry (and giving feedback while writing up my talk). Exciting News: 5 Additional Tickets Donated to XP Gaming Inc.'s 2024 Summit in Toronto (June 13th-14th) Hi everyone, I'm thrilled to announce that, following their generous donation of 10 tickets in March, Jason Lepine and Ryan Sno-Wood 🔜 XP Game Summit have contributed an additional 5 tickets to the XP Game Summit! The enthusiasm and passion for this event have been incredible, and with the summit just around the corner, they wanted to make sure more of our community could attend. Each ticket is valued at $349 CAD! Please note that these tickets cover only the event pass and do not include accommodation or travel expenses.
