Equality Health’s Arizona #healthcarerebels, in partnership with the Equality Health Foundation, volunteered last week to support the EFH’s annual Back-to-School Drive, where we prepared over 2000 backpacks with necessary school supplies for the 2024-25 academic year. This initiative aligns with our core mission of promoting health and well-being in our community. Just as these backpacks are equipped for academic success, regular well-child visits to healthcare providers are essential for maintaining optimal health in children. Well-child visits allow healthcare providers to monitor growth, administer necessary vaccinations, and address any health concerns promptly. These visits are a cornerstone of preventive healthcare and play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of children. As we gear up for the new school year, Equality Health will continue to provide solutions for providers looking to optimize well-child visits in their practices. Ensuring our children are healthy is just as important as ensuring they are ready for academic success. #EqualityHealth #BackpackDrive #WellChildVisits #PreventiveHealthcare #BackToSchool2024

Well-child visits, recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, are crucial for early detection of health issues. However, children miss 30%-50% of these checkups. These visits offer opportunities for immunizations, screenings, and evaluations. Healthcare providers play a pivotal role, partnering with parents for early detection. Let’s have a conversation on how to ensure every child receives the preventive care they need. #wellchildvisits #backtoschool #valuebasecare

According to the most recent CMS enrollment statistics, over 37 million children in the US are enrolled CHIP or Child Medicaid. That’s a lot of Well-Child Visits (WCVs) to cover by physicians and pediatricians. Consistent WCVs are critical to achieving positive health outcomes for children, adolescents and young adults. What costs are associated with missed visits? And what can providers do to close care gaps? Learn more here: https://bit.ly/4eX6R7X
