    Daisy Romero, DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS) Daisy Romero has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the Assembly Department at DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS). Daisy Romero has been with DNUS since February 2021, when she started as an Assembly Team Lead. On August 2022 Daisy was promoted to Assembly Group Lead and is now promoted to Assembly Assistant Manager. Daisy has over ten (10) years’ of experience in a manufacturing environment and completed AIDT’s Leadership Training series certification. When not working, Daisy enjoys cheering her kids at their various sports, kayaking, and spending time with her family.

  • DNUS is thrilled announce that Katie French joined our team May 24th as the Assistant Human Resources Manager. Katie has varied experience in performing and managing an array of employment functions for companies in the manufacturing industry. She has administered various employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, COBRA, & 401k), as well as determined employee eligibility. She will support and manage benefits administration through new hire orientation, ensuring all employees meet enrollment deadlines. As the Assistant Human Resources Manager, she will be a liaison between employees and insurance companies to resolve issues pertaining to employee benefits.  She will also take on management of various leave programs (FMLA, Disability, Workers Comp), working with insurers and employees regarding eligibility, rights, and responsibilities. In a challenging labor market, her recruitment/on-boarding skills for exempt and nonexempt positions will prove valuable when interviewing and screening candidates, and ensuring drug tests and background screenings are performed in compliance with company policy. She will assist with employee relation issues including investigations, performance improvement plans, and resolution recommendations. DNUS is happy to add her to a high-functioning human resources team that promotes a positive and engaging work culture. Please join us in welcoming Katie to the DNUS Team!

  • Jordan Byers, DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS)   Jordan Byers has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the Production Control Department at DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS). Jordan has been with DNUS since March 2021, when he started as a Master Scheduler. Jordan completed his undergraduate degree at Athens State University while working full-time. He has over twelve (12) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Jordan received a significant achievement award for his coating consignment project and completed AIDT’s Leadership Training series certification.   • Sheila Cassady, DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS) DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS) is proud to announce that Sheila Cassady has been promoted from Human Resources Department Manager to General Manager of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). Sheila joined DNUS in August 2022, and has since been an integral part of the company’s growth from a workforce of 192 to 470 today. DNUS is wholly-owned by DaikyoNishikawa Corporation headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. With over fifteen plants spread across seven countries on two continents, Sheila is the first female General Manager for the family of DNC-owned companies located in North America. The DNUS plant is a leading automotive parts supplier to Mazda-Toyota Manufacturing. Sheila’s career in human resources management spans over thirty (30) years in the various industries of commercial L&H insurance, medical facility management, agronomy service, and manufacturing. She holds a BBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and is PHR certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute. Her philosophy of strategic HR management is being an advocate to the employee, and a partner to the employer. She volunteers with the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama, and the Huntsville Chapter of Soroptimist International. In her free time, she is active in the national pageant industry, enjoys traveling with her husband, and spending time with her daughters in Birmingham and Atlanta.

  • William “Biff” Barber, DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS)   William “Biff” Barber has been promoted to General Manager of Operations at DaikyoNishikawa USA Inc (DNUS). Biff has been with DNUS over four years, during which time he has served as Assembly Department Manager, Paint Department Manager, Operations Manager, and now the General Manager of Operations. His career has been dedicated to the manufacturing industry where he considers himself fortunate to have gained valuable experience in many areas including plastics, fabrication, assembly, materials, HVAC, quality, and maintenance. Biff started his career as a temporary contract worker at a Tier 1 automotive supplier. As his knowledge and skill level grew, he ascended through the ranks which allowed him to view business from many levels. He is grateful for his experience background, and finds immense satisfaction in growing the new business at DNUS while helping others grow and achieve their career goals. Biff is an avid football and race fan. He enjoys working on vintage cars in his shop, and spending free time with his wife and best friend, Kate, as well as their daughter Rachel and her new family.
