This unique position enables us to act solely in your best interest. Insights & Intelligence: We enhance your marketing effectiveness, providing consultation services and best practice guidelines. ACA also facilitates professional development through our range of courses, webinars, committees and events. Issues Leadership: ACA is unrelenting in our defence of marketers' rights to commercial free speech and in our demand for a transparent and accountable media marketplace. We are present before government and industry stakeholders, ensuring your voice is heard, understood and acted upon.

Happy to have contributed to the Canadian Marketing Association's DEI survey! The report sheds light on crucial issues like workplace polarization and ageism, offering valuable insights and steps for building a more inclusive marketing sector.
Our 2024 research report, DEI in the Canadian Marketing Sector: Polarization, Ageism and Mounting Frustration, now in its fourth year, is one of several initiatives that the Canadian Marketing Association is taking to fulfill its 2020 pledge to combat racism, discrimination and systemic barriers to inclusion in the marketing profession. Key findings in this year’s report include: 1. Marketers are experiencing polarization in the workplace, which has a negative outcome on employee engagement. 2. Ageism and intersectionality are affecting marketers’ careers, leading to more discrimination, microaggressions in the workplace, and a higher potential to experience barriers and job loss. However, a well-diversified leadership team can mitigate the impact. 3. Ignoring issues lowers employee engagement. 4. Steps can be taken to improve the polarization issue and build diversity. The good news is that many marketing leaders are already making an effort—but there is room for growth, particularly in hiring practices and leadership efforts. Get more insights from our DEI report here: https://lnkd.in/gcuByUik Surveys were distributed through the CMA and its partners: Strategy Online, Ad Standards, APTN, Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA), Association of Creative Communication Agencies, Black Talent Initiative, COPHAN - Confédération des organismes de personnes handicapées du Québec, Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (DAAC), Digital Marketing Sector Council, Grenier, IAB of Canada, Marketing News Canada, POCAM - People of Colour in Advertising & Marketing, and SMCC- Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada. #MarketingInsights #DEI #ThoughtLeadership #DEICommittee
