In honor of Earth Day, we’d like to give a shout-out to our Planning Department, which provides many services for active transportation projects, including transit systems, bicycle and pedestrian plans, bus rapid transit (BRT) corridors, and so much more. Taking steps to incorporate active transportation into daily lives reduces our carbon footprint. This fits with our goal of #MakingLivesBetter #ATG|DCCM

🚍 Congratulations to recipients of the latest FY 2023 Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Planning Projects funding announced by the Federal Transit Administration. After helping Metro McAllen update their Transit Development Plan (TDP), ATG | DCCM supported the City of McAllen’s development of an application for this competitive program. The grant will allow the City to connect their transit goals with their housing needs and plan for TOD around two stations connected by a proposed bus rapid transit (BRT) corridor. Connecting people to housing and opportunity fulfills ATG | DCCM’s promise of #MakingLivesBetter #ATG|DCCM https://lnkd.in/gRqG7Zgk
