    Will AI be used to help sellers become more productive and more effective? The answer depends on your definition of productivity and effectiveness. Historically, sales tech has been primarily used to do more activities. If you think a seller’s productivity is based largely on their volume of activities, then you may think using AI tools to enable sellers to send out 300% more outreach emails in half the time is a good thing. But, while sellers have been doing “more,” the measures of true sales effectiveness, such as win rates, have fallen. (Average B2B win rates are at 20% and lower.) In other words, we know how to leverage tech to do “more.” The challenge becomes can we leverage the power of AI to do “better” as well? How can AI be applied to help sellers be more connected? More trustworthy? More credible? More curious? More understanding? More helpful? To enable sellers to be more effective with buyers and win a higher fraction of their opportunities?     Two great events, shared common threads.🚀 We recently had the privilege of sponsoring two outstanding events: the Sales Enablement Society's annual gathering in San Diego, #SESExperience, and Pavilion's #GTM2023 event in Nashville. While the events catered to different audiences (Sales Enablement vs. Sales/Customer Success/Rev Ops), there were overlapping themes: ➕1. Customer-Centric Approach: Both events emphasized the importance of delivering continuous impact for customers. While both groups have slightly different customers (Enablement serves Sales/CS/Partners, and Sales/CS serves the end customer), putting the customer at the forefront is paramount. 🤖2. Al as a Force Multiplier: The common sentiment is that, 'we have an Al initiative coming from our CEO.’ The sessions on Al were in such demand that people were finding space on the floor. 🏡3. A Sense of Community: It was fantastic to see likeminded professionals come together to learn and support one another.
