On July 9, we kicked off our 150th anniversary location events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - the home of our World Headquarters! An evening of camaraderie and celebration was shared with our employees, Smith family members and elected officials. Dinner featured the always entertaining John McGivern, words from Chairman and CEO Kevin Wheeler, and A. O. Smith Foundation Board of Directors President Bruce Smith. The night ended with a surprise visit from the University of Wisconsin-Madison marching band! Thank you to everyone who joined us, making it a truly special evening. We look forward to continuing our anniversary celebrations with location events across the world in the coming months!

The CRC is honored to be the recipient of $150,000 from the A. O. Smith Corporation Foundation in celebration of the company's 150th anniversary! ❤️ A.O. Smith made two donations, one to an organization in Milwaukee and one in Nashville, as an investment in the communities where they have a significant presence. Last month, a group of volunteers from A.O. Smith joined us in the warehouse for a volunteer shift and presented us with our grant. “It is an honor and a privilege to make these donations to organizations that positively impact our communities and improve the lives of those who live there,” Kevin Wheeler, A. Big news! As part of the 150th anniversary celebration of A. O. Smith Corporation, the A.O. Smith Foundation recently presented the Milwaukee Rescue Mission with an incredibly generous $150,000 grant — WOW! This gift will make an immense difference at our K4-12th grade school, Cross Trainers Academy (CTA), where the grant will fund technology needs — including Chromebooks and laptops — plus a commercial washer & dryer and water heater. All very important equipment to support our young scholars as they learn, play and grow! In fact, A.O. Smith is so dedicated to helping students in need that, on the day of the check presentation, a group of employees volunteered at CTA setting up classrooms and sorting clothes. A.O. A. O. Smith announced today that it will acquire Pureit from Unilever. Pureit offers a broad range of residential water purification solutions, primarily in India. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024. A. O. Smith Chairman and CEO Kevin Wheeler stated, “The addition of Pureit strengthens our leadership position as a global supplier of premium water treatment products and will double our market penetration in South Asia." The Milwaukee Rescue Mission was presented with $150,000 to support its Cross Trainers Academy, a school dedicated to providing at-risk children with a well-rounded, Christian-based education. The foundation also donated $150,000 to the Community Resource Center, Middle Tennessee's Hygiene Hub in Nashville, which provides essential hygiene items to Middle Tennessee citizens during times of disaster and seasons of ongoing need.
