Partners (2024)

Okay,!
6 July 2024
"Partners" belongs to the category of films about theft. Five apprehended thieves attempt to get away with stolen gold. That's the gist. It's a mediocre film that has similarities to other films. From an acting perspective, they presented numerous new members of the cast in unimportant roles. However, as a tale, it could be passable. The background music is the annoying part. I'm not sure why this thriller film needs suspenseful music for each and every scene. The primary character's failure to fulfill their characterization is the acting's flaw. That is also the director's issue. It's a nice treat if someone wants to see a movie just to kill time without experiencing the true essence of a good film. Observe and then let it go. Of fact, this film tells some genuine lies by appropriating plot aspects from other films, such as "Usual Suspects". The supporting cast members' performances will never be remembered and will have no bearing on the plot. However, the film never forgets what the protagonists never accomplished.

Paradise (VII) (2023)

Boring
30 June 2024
The film "Paradise," regrettably, falls short of the hype and offers an unimpressive viewing experience in general. The story, which revolves around an ostensibly exciting journey, is rife with cliches and predictable turns that rob the film of any thrill or novelty. The plot is fragmented and leaves the audience more perplexed than captivated due to the screenplay's lack of consistency.

Character development is scant, and the conversation is terribly written, offering no insight into the protagonists' motivations or personalities. It is difficult for viewers to emotionally invest in their journeys because of this lack of depth. Despite the best efforts of a gifted cast, the performances lack credibility and feel forced, mostly because to poor scriptwriting and directing. From a cinematographic standpoint, the movie is also unimpressive. The images, which had the potential to be a strong point, are ruined by a lack of imagination in picture composition and dull camerawork. The film feels longer than its running time due to the jerky editing, which further ruins the narrative flow.

Furthermore, the background music might be bothersome at times because it makes an excessive effort to create a dramatic and tense mood but ends up being a distraction. The experience of watching is further diminished by the absence of an engaging music.

In general, "Paradise" is a lethargic addition to Malayalam film; it lacks the inventiveness, nuance, and emotional resonance necessary to leave a lasting impression.

Not interesting
30 June 2024
The Michael Sarnoski-directed film "A Quiet Place: Day One" makes an effort to investigate the beginnings of the extraterrestrial invasion, but it ultimately falls short of the lofty standards set by its predecessors. Although the film begins with compelling sequences of the first turmoil, it finds it difficult to sustain that pace throughout. Though meant to offer a more comprehensive viewpoint, the multi-narrative method frequently comes across as haphazard and lessens the emotional effect.

Even with Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn giving powerful performances, the characters don't have enough nuance or growth to really hold the attention of the viewer. Although the film's sound design is still a standout, its uncanny ability to build tension through quiet and unexpected noises isn't enough to make up for the erratic pacing and cliched plot twists.

All things considered, "A Quiet Place: Day One" has its share of frightening moments but falls short of emulating the same emotional impact and inventiveness that characterized the first two films.

💤💤💤
29 June 2024
The Malayalam film "Pattappakal" is unsatisfactory in multiple aspects. There are neither compelling plot twists nor emotional depth in this story, which makes it frustratingly lackluster. Because there is little character development, it is difficult for the audience to relate to or feel anything for the protagonists. The movie's timing is also erratic, with a few plodding and slow passages that break the flow. The dialogue frequently comes across as forced and artificial, falling short of capturing the genuineness of casual discussions. The bad writing and direction contribute to the lackluster performances, even with the best of intentions from the performers. "Pattappakal" is a mediocre contribution to Malayalam film, failing to make a lasting impression overall.

Lack of ideas.
29 June 2024
First and foremost, why are such films made? Because even if it was a stolen plot, if they had done it with someone who knew how to act, every scene would have been improved, even if it was thrown out of context. This film is full with confusion. There are a few nonsensical sequences. The movie's storyline and direction are completely uninteresting. It has previously been said that acting is not good. It may have been difficult to create numerous dialogues, and some moments were pushed through with music. There is also some fictionalization of real-life occurrences that never occurred. The film has elements of Western films, however it is hardly worth watching. The truth is that lead performers struggle to accurately depict actual emotions.

Kalki 2898 AD (2024)
5/10
A mix of Hollywood fantasy and science fiction films.
29 June 2024
Should you be a frequent viewer of Hollywood fantasy science fiction films, this film may not appear particularly noteworthy to you. Since this film has amazing visuals that surpass all you've seen in previous films. Speaking of Kalki 2898 AD, the fight in the three-hour film begins with a mass, typical of telugu masala, but it lasts for roughly fifteen minutes. The stunt, which should be finished in two minutes, is drawn out in slow motion, not because of the fight's grandeur. As for the story itself, we may say that it is a bit of foolishness that defies comprehension. Such a myth should never be destroyed. It appears to be a shirt composed of many colorful fabrics. It is necessary to consider the reasoning for the universe's praises. A movie is successful if it can persuade the viewers that this is possible. Indeed, one could argue that both the film and the plot failed. Everything has undergone change. It doesn't have to be as much fun when a movie like this is out and receives so much excitement. The film uses a lot of CGI. Each performer fulfilled their role. Nothing particularly interesting aside from that.

Trash
24 June 2024
Well, this movie is complete trash. Bad acting, bad direction, and a terrible background score. Please put an end to this kind of foolishness. These kinds of movies are far too common. Everyone is making the same error again. This film lacks a decent screenplay and character assignments. The actors are at a loss for words regarding them. There isn't any excellent dialogue in the film. Watching this kind of nonsense on such a beautiful day is just pitiful. When the enemy shows up in the movie, why the devil does it have such horrible background music and slow motion? It's like all those bad stuff. Nothing further is known about this film. The film is quite sad.

Gaganachari (2024)

Nice try
23 June 2024
A fair attempt is made to portray the idea of an apocalypse in Malayalam as a comedy, drawing inspiration from science fiction films in Hollywood. Anyway, it's entertaining to watch Ganesh Kumar's great acting. Aju Varghese has not changed. Gokul Suresh has demonstrated his lack of acting skills. Additionally, because the character had no dialogue and nothing to do, Anarkali didn't create a major problem. Furthermore, in these kinds of sarcastic movies, there's really nothing to look at. You may classify the Malayalam version as an experimental movie. But all of this in Hollywood was over when technology emerged. These kinds of trials are carried out in Malayalam while the hollywood filmmakers are deciding what kind of film they want to make next. Either way, the most of the movie Gaganachari must be acknowledged as a green- screen film.

An ordinary, uncomplicated film
23 June 2024
Nadanna Sambhavam uses satirical humor to present one of the current happenings. In the film, family issues and real-life circumstances are depicted. Every character did a good job assuming their parts. Certain incidents may be dragged out, which could make the viewers uncomfortable. It is absurd to claim that this is a predictable story. The film itself implies the events of the upcoming sequences. Thus, it qualifies as a family movie. The film's narrative weakness prevents it from fitting everyone, even when a large cast is assembled. It goes without saying that the movie is joke-free. The movie's narrative suggests that circumstances ought to be viewed as humorous instead. Nobody has very impressive acting. There aren't any standout songs or characters. It might be categorized as a typical motion picture.

Ullozhukku (2024)

Excellent performance
22 June 2024
The film Ullozhukku serves as evidence that any film may achieve great heights at any point in time with the right cast, director, and screenplay. Among the female characters in the movie is Urvashi, who has long been regarded as one of the best artists. This movie still reflects that recognition. Along with showcasing her acting talent, Parvathy has a compelling character. Every scene in the movie seems believable due to the plot and setting. It's amazing how the filmmaker finished the movie without breaking the scene's flow or omitting even a tiny bit of emotion. The fact is that when great stories are brought to life on the entertainment stage-which is what's referred to as cinema-with the aid of a screenplay, film also gains the important distinction of being a good art form.

There's nothing but disappointment.
21 June 2024
This movie receives a maximum of two stars from me. Some scenes in the movie have no continuity. This movie has terrible direction. Jessica Alba's acting prowess has been demonstrated in her prior films. However, in this one, there is acting confusion in every scene. Actually, hardly a single scene has any life in it. Discovering the cause of the heroine's father's death is the main goal of the film. It's a completely bad film. From the outset, it presents a quiet atmosphere in a desolate setting with few actors. It's like an inexperienced director took a nonsense script and cast it. Even with a bad screenplay, these kinds of thrillers ought to have better acting. Jessica doesn't even know how to hold a knife correctly in this film. A group of dramatists who were unaware of the circumstances made up the co-actors. Come on, Netflix is the greatest place to see if a movie is good or horrible right now.

DNA (I) (2024)

Yet another cliche
18 June 2024
Serial killer movies won't be successful unless they feature an intriguing plot and a cast of excellent actors. There are various build-ups in the film DNA, such as the greatest story of the century. It was never worth telling this tale. It follows the same formula as previous serial killer films. The performance in this film is its primary component. The main actors are utterly useless in their parts. The supporting cast members performed their parts flawlessly. Retaliation is the film's central theme. The movie's main character must get his revenge. However, the actor's lack of preparation and the ridiculously overdone lines truly made every scene chaotic. Investigative reasons that do not contain clichés are excellent.

Grrr... (2024)
5/10
A mediocre comedy movie
15 June 2024
Grrr is a straightforward comedic show with no complex structure or storyline. In the film, a young man who becomes drunk and goes into the lion's cage at the zoo is saved. You will undoubtedly laugh for a long time. But there's no sign of acting prowess. A movie that is typically only seen once. Director obviously tried to add something to the movie. However, everything proved to be a nightmare. Because you can only experience the movie's content if you give it some thought. It might have been seen for some time without any further transgressions. The presence of a lion suggests that something interesting will occur. It is possible to argue that the movie is insufficient even with additions. The direction and the screenplay are both mediocre.

Inside Out 2 (2024)

Not bad...
14 June 2024
Like its predecessor Inside Out, Inside Out 2 is a fantastic family film. Characters from the first movie are introduced, saving the sequel from being monotonous and repetitive. The characters are less constrained because the movie is animated. Every aspect of the film has been attempted to be adequately covered. The second installment of Inside Out is more enjoyable for those who have seen the first. These films have a lot of elements that set them apart from other animations. Since it is a story written by merging human emotions, nothing is very difficult. It has some amusing and thought-provoking content. Most children will enjoy this film. However, if you watch this without watching the first part, you will not feel so good. Either way, it can be considered a decent entertainer.

The Boys (2019– )
5/10
An unstable series
14 June 2024
A spoof of comic book superheroes, The Boys has been operating on a waning plot. The boys could have been concluded in a single season, to start. Nothing further noteworthy can be found in the series. There are situations where having too many people involved at once makes character participation appear challenging. Thus, for the sequences that are added between episodes, continuity is highly important. The idea is that everyone is aware of the true tale and how the comic book version concludes. As a result, the cinematic representation merely provides an estimate for how the characters will perform in each scene. The truth is that both Homelander and Butcher are performing admirably. Via his role, the actor playing Homelander is fully expressing the character's hatred. In terms of entertainment value, the plot is fulfilling its purpose even though it occasionally drags and gets monotonous.

What's the deal with this?
12 June 2024
You should watch this movie if you're exhausted and ready to go to bed. It won't take long until you fall asleep. It is not my intention to review this kind of film. Since the movies must, at the very least, provide some compelling reasons to be seen. Horror movie "Wild Eyes and Wicked" is one of the nastiest ones. Poor screenplay and plot. Cinematography is a total failure. You won't see anything in the movie's climax other than darkness if you watch it. Silent, lonely things. In my opinion, the filmmaker fails to portray the true situation and the script's logic, and the performers in the parts are oblivious to what is actually going on in the plot.

Golam (2024)
5/10
A story that you've read or heard elsewhere
11 June 2024
The story of the movie Golam might feel familiar to people who watch or listen to movies frequently. Especially for viewers of detective films. There is a link between this movie's concept and the story of a significant book written by renowned author Agatha Christie. Perhaps accidental. Nevertheless, this film may have been a solid investigative thriller if it had a new storyline and had a few more talented performers. The movie frequently shifts in tempo and veers away from the intended message. The main character, who pointlessly snaps and then examines a photo on his phone, is the best illustration of this. Both the screenplay and the story are old. This one has every element common to all other investigative thrillers. Just one viewing of the film is sufficient. In any case, the writer deserves a hearty round of applause. Because it's difficult to manage so many different characters at once and come up with a confusing murdering method that nobody recognizes.

Little Hearts (2024)

Miscasting
10 June 2024
Little Hearts is a comedy-romance entertainer that tells the story of a young man and related people. Comedy, corny romance, and some relatable elements from everyday life are all included in the film. Both the screenplay and the story are decent. However, there are moments that are only reserved for drinking alcohol and preparing tea. Alcohol or black tea are present in most of the scenes.

If the casting is right, the film is good. The roles of the main characters are crucial, therefore it's a huge disaster when the casting is off. Despite the actors' best efforts, nothing materialized. It was evident in every single scene of the film. Really, the casting is a poor decision. Songs don't stick in your memory. The supporting cast members' comedic moments are excellent. Even the delivery of the dialogue is timed better. There's not much to tell about romance because it's so cliche. It is best to watch Little Hearts just once.

An ordinary action film. Nothing more is to be anticipated.
6 June 2024
Bad Boys: Ride or Die is a fun-fight entertainer with a predicted storyline. It would be incorrect to categorize this film as awful. Let's talk about it using the key components of a movie.

Direction: Not too awful. It might have been better with more information regarding the character development, scene continuity, actor dialogue modulations, and setting.

Plot: The plot of this film is weak. There are no enhancements over any of the prior stories or materials, and the plot itself is not new.

Screenplay: It appears that there is no need to rewrite the screenplay for this film. It may have changed places, attire, and other equipment from the original script.

Dialogue: The dialogue in this film is informal and typical given the circumstances. A portion of them are useless.

Cinematography: This film emphasizes the use of cameras. Particularly in the action scenes. Not that awful, actually.

Acting: Will's entertaining dialogues aren't all that memorable, and his acting is lifeless. Several times, Martin has overacted. That could be the characterization, I don't know. However, something is absent.

Editing: The hue and lighting aren't very appealing. VFX and blue screen are provided as usual. For the huge screen, some effects are quite unique. It's interesting to watch fight scenes with musical accompaniment.

Stunt: As long as there is minimal usage of blue screens, the stunts in this film are good.

Soundtrack: It's alright. The stunt scenes' background music is well-done.

Attraction: To put it simply, the Bad Boys movie's entertainment value is "okay." It is not a thrilling, suspenseful action film. A typical action movie, nothing noteworthy to say.

Not awful, but not remarkable
1 June 2024
This film is unique in that it features a decent tale with modern relevance that is ruined by clumsy performances and excessive jokes. The film seems wonderful and is somewhat relevant to the current social circumstances in the first half of the script.

The second half of the script loses its earlier nice flow and takes on a different character when it comes to the cinematic feel.

The actors playing the lead parts haven't altered how they've approached their previous projects. It's not sure why these mistakes happen even with a skilled writer and director.

Comedy cannot be seen in the movie, even though it is classified as such, yet it is not so serious.

It seems like a scam at times. These days, the majority of films are profitable regardless of how awful they are. Alternatively, opinions on films remain erratic despite changes in people's choices.

Tarot (I) (2024)

Outdated
29 May 2024
Sometimes, watching scary films is really thrilling. With all the scenes taken straight out of other stories and the dialogue being said over and over again with no variation, how can a movie truly let you down? To relive the entire experience, watch this movie right now. Tarot might be a suspenseful horror movie, but after letting the ghost out, it has to fulfil its destiny. However, the movie accomplishes its goal of encouraging restful slumber once it gets going. This is an excellent movie for bedtime. When there are so many excellent horror thrillers already out there, there is nothing to discuss about this film. The direction is terrible, and the actors are so bored. A movie enthusiast cannot appreciate every film.

27 May 2024
Absolute garbage. This film is exactly that. This movie doesn't provide anything new. Everything about this movie, including the acting, directing, and screenplay, is a total catastrophe. This type of movie has a very good reason for being called garbage. Who will appreciate it if it is released? Every movie aims to amuse while also creating memories for its audience. However, films of this nature are the reason other films fail. For even when quality films are released, people will still despise the film industry as a whole. It is preferable to discourage this kind of narrative and guidance. Although making a movie may be their goal, a strong story and script are essential for a successful film.

This is a dull movie and a terrible waste of time.

Thalavan (2024)

A big plot turned into a simple climax
25 May 2024
Thalavan is an expansive narrative investigative thriller movie. The film narrates the tale of fabricating a case to get revenge on a police officer. The story indicates the accused characters come to know the truth in their own unique ways. The director of feel-good films, Jis Joy, demonstrated his directing abilities in the thriller genre. Asif Ali and Biju Menon, the main characters, have performed admirably in their roles.

The initial half of the script is quite original. However, it then revealed certain differences in the narrative's flow. Similar to previous mystery thrillers, the plot developed as a story within a story. Using this method has the drawback that once the investigator finds out who the leads are to the next part, they will no longer be able to concentrate on the other important individuals in the story. The story moves forward without considering the earlier leads. It was probably a decent twist, but not really good.

But after watching the movie, some viewers could feel as though something is missing.

Atlas (2024)
5/10
A CGI turmoil.
24 May 2024
Reading science fiction literature is preferable to excessive VFX visuals. Hollywood has a plethora of artificial intelligence films. Any two of these could provide the movie's plot. That's precisely what took place in this instance. This movie is entirely computer-generated imagery, and sixty percent of it is not realistic, particularly the space and asteroidal scenes. Of course, there are mechanical noises in space. Atlas lacks a compelling plot and an idealised direction. In case the film had any message, it did it to the fullest extent possible. The performers made an effort to demonstrate their acting prowess in poignant moments, but it was largely pointless and uninspiring.

Old wine in a new bottle.
24 May 2024
First things come first. Chris Hemsworth has done a good job in the film Furiosa. Throughout his whole career, he portrayed the best character role. That might be the only updated element of this film. Comparing it to Mad Max Fury Road would be like mocking the approach to that film. This movie doesn't offer anything noteworthy. It solely tells the story of Furiosa's birth, her hand loss, and her survival. You could sum that up in one sentence. Furiosa has previously spoken of being kidnapped and raised in Mad Max Fury Road. The movie won't always be saved by the making. The primary issue with this movie is its latency. Certain sequences don't fully convey the characters' nuance and aren't compelling based on their actions. Furthermore, the younger Furiosa is superior to the adult Furiosa. If the script had included fresh material, it might have been better.
