If you don't take the proceedings in Kalki (an avatar of Hindu god Vishnu) seriously you will have a fun time watching its namesake fearless cop (Tovino Thomas) bring down the sky - picturized on hard-hitting rock music - for all the goons (local as well as political) in a small village that has been the centre of crime for a long time. People who expected a story line from this movie are idiots. Right from trailer it was evident that this was going to be an out and out mass entertainer. The movie is similar to others like Singham, Simba etc. but with a bit of dark shade for the lead - Tovino. Action sequences are good. I was entertained. It is definitely a one time watch.

I am pretty sure the day Kalki released dubai is where numerous people got disspointment after there day at work. I have never seen a silent crowd for a mass movie. We understand its mass, but we cant identify which was the mass scene. I hope the audience dont have to re live the same expirience

It's a movie with illogical story line and poor acting except Tovino's and Sudeesh's , all others were pathetic .I will suggest to watch this movie without using your intelligence but Telugu movie fans can watch this because they want action sequences rather than story.. I am pretty much sure about it sensible audience not gonna like this..

First of all let me thank the whole crew including actors for a great contribution to the Entertainment Play List. One word, Mass. The word itself explains how the movie is & the characteristics of the movie. To be specific the film is for the teenagers and relative aged people's because how the film is showcased can only be enjoyable to them. Must see this film in theatre because the film need a Dolby Atmos.

Kalki is a great mass entertainer given by Tovino and Praveen to the Mallu crowd. Movie has some great mass scenes and dialogues followed by some comical bits as well.
The storyline is not that great, but the characters are well portrayed. Jakes Bejoy's BGM and Music lend the movie a pakka Mass feel.
Overall Kalki is a movie not to be watched with your intelligent brain, but with an open heart. Only then can we enjoy the movie to the fullest!

An average mass action police movie

An average mass movie. Background music and Tovino just done their best. What change can a police officer make in a villiage full of gangster.Some sub plots had made good but main plot needs to be developed little more it would have been a hit. And overly made mass and lengthy fight scenes made it little boring. One time watchable any day. Give 6/10.

"the writers of this movie surgically suspended their brains while writing this" is the only conclusion one will come to after watching this steaming pile of garbage. One would at least hope that the action sequences would be entertaining to watch but they are just as poorly written as the rest of the movie. The action is on par with your usual telegu flick. Boss man flicks his moustache and the goon is flung somewhere.
The characters were poorly written and felt like a cartoon. evil man is evil and bad, police man angry but good, village people in distress and yada yada. the sidecharacters could have been replaced by pieces of cardboard and nobody would have noticed.
All in all bad movie, its unbelievably bad how an actor like tovino would accept a script like this.

It is so bad, and dragged movie that audience walk out, use phones and start talking during the film.
Waste of energy, waste of mood, and weekend spoiled.
The whole movie should have been cut and edited and made in 1st half itself. Just to have part 2 they have dragged, even the Prabhas entry scene is boring.
Only Amitabh Bachan and Kamal Hassan are good.
Basically this whole movie should have been the first part itself. 1 hour movie dragged for 3 hours.
People watching night show skipping sleep for entertainment is a waste for this movie.
Fake hype is created. It is like adipurush and ganpath.

Was i the only one who felt the mixtures and usage of many movies all-together like Star-Wars, Mandalorian, Harry Potter, Avengers, Wakanda Forever, Tekken, Anime scene from Naruto like that ancient weapon used by the rebels on the dark forces that nullified their powers.
Though the graphics used was great and well noticeable the money spent was on making the movie and hiring the characters is justified. Great Role by Deepika and Legendary performance by Sir Amitabh Bachchan ji 👍
One more movie like Bhramastra of ranbir kapoor, kalki would be same with 3 parts atleast. Hope to see more characters in the next part.

Failed attempt at an action movie

As much as I love Tovino, what this movie was trying to archive, it just really didn't work.
Tamil and Telugu film industries can make this kind of brainless action movies much better, but in the Malayalam film industry, movies like these simply just don't work. At least not as it should.
First of all for an action movie, this one sure felt very long with many unimportant scenes and very few fight/action scenes. And the action itself wasn't great either, for a movie like this.
It would have been much better if the script was a bit better with a shorter runtime, with better choreographed action scenes (more than just a few), with a better delivery of the punch/mass dialogs of Tovino -> this movie could have worked.
I hope that the sequel does better.

Movie is not good at all. If u like only and only action then go head bad watch. Other than action nothing is there in movie
Prabhas is for no reason keeps fighting with Amitabh Bachchan There is no end.. this is the worst part.
For.no reason part two is also going to come They could have shown everything together. As hardly there is any story in the movie Part one is full of torchure. Movie is just extended for no reason It is headache.

The movie Kalki deserves Zero stars
for hurting sentiments with showing wrong facts (Fight scene of Krishna and Aswathama and Krishna taking forehead manni which was actually taken by Arjun and Bhim) keeps revolving much around meaningless drama, lovestory, silly street fights, All characters chanting Units ...units and Complex.... Complex forgetting the core of Mahabharata and useless flying scooters made a commedy.
It would have been nice if some more actual scene of Mahabharata with some Geeta Gyan and Sri Krishna shown as Virat roop rather mockery of actual scene with showing women as objects required only for serum and baby birth by some useless ganju baba named supreme...horrible
Actual content, about Kalki is just 25%...Only few Scenes from Mahabharata are truly nice, a few scene with Amitabh Bacchan as ashwathama are good which makes some sence. Otherwise sort of ruined the whole concept, and senseless comedy.

There was no story line yes we can see some over crowded technology in this movie. Prabhas role was also too boring as he did much overacting which makes me bored.
I will not suggest any one to watch this movie.
I left the movie in half .This is the first movie which I left in half.otherwise i could not leave any movie in between ig little bored also but in this movie I couldn't find any thing interesting.
Only interesting thing which was technology shown in movie.if you want to waste your money you can go and watch not only money Your precious time which we want to entertain our weekend but by watching this movie just waste your time 😊

Surprised to see so many 5 star rating.
Jack of all master of none. Have used so many heros and directors for characters in movie, it's more of a spoof movie kind than serious movie. Making is good but not the real story that is required. Sci Fi movie without strong story making Skills. Graphics are good. Deepika has same expression from 1 st scene to last scene in thr movie. Bujji and Prabhas jokes doesn't jell so well as they expected to be linked in movie. Movie length is too long more than 3 hrs which makes audience to have good nap if show is night show. I did the same so have mentioned it here.

The movie theme is very good.
The only reason for 2 stars is the dismal acting (?) by lead actor Prabhas. He fails miserably to enact any comedy scenes which in themselves seem to have been artificially inserted into the movie.
If I was to edit the movie I would delete almost 30 mins of the scenes from pre interval movie. Also a lot of scenes and actions are taken straight out of Mad Max franchise and hence offer no original creativity.
The movie is a disaster barring phenomenal acting by Amitabh Bacchan.
Direction , action, screenplay everything is a miss on one or the other aspect.
I don't understand why they are calling it a hit.
