In this episode, little Pete is upset at having to go to bed at nine o'clock every night. When little Pete asks his mother why bed-time was at that certain time she replied 'Because I said so'. Pete is now determined to stay awake as long as possible. When he hears that the record for staying up is eleven days, him and his friends are set on breaking the record. So little Pete, Natasha, Clem, Libby, Pink-eye, Pervis, Mort and Artie, aka The Nightcrawlers, are set to break the record.
Staying up for such a long time does not set well with the parents of the children. And they know if they start questioning bed-time, then anything is now questionable. The parents are thinking of a way to end this madness.
But when kids start dropping out due to a range of reason, the last two left are little Pete and Artie. With just a few hours to go one of them will fall asleep and it looks like the entire reason for staying awake is lost. But a surprising person may come to the rescue to save the night.
Another enjoyable episode that proves that true friendship and love comes in many forms. Whether it is a school friend that is by your side when you attempt questionable events or a parent that sets questionable rules- love has many forms. Even if you do not see it at the time.
