Jason Ninness was Production Executive at Mike Medavoy's Phoenix Pictures on projects such as Shutter Island (directed by Martin Scorsese), Black Swan (directed by Darren Aronofsky) and Shanghai (directed by Mikael Hafstrom). Following Phoenix Pictures, Ninness was Head of Production at Patchwork Productions, a Sony based feature film and animation company headed by former DreamworksAnimation studio chief Sandra Rabins, with live action and animation projects at Columbia-TriStar, Screen Gems and Dreamworks, and at Independent Media, a premiere commercial production company featuring the directing talents of Oscar-winning cinematographers Janusz Kaminski, Wally Pfister and Mauro Fiore.
In 2015, Ninness was tapped by The Hettema Group, an industry-leading experiential entertainment company, to be Project Producer at the Atturaif Living Museum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a 58-acre museum celebrating the culture and history of the Arabian Peninsula. He was also Producer at the K-Culture Valley amusement park for CJ Entertainment outside Seoul, Korea. The park profiled many of the CJ Entertainment IP across all media, including K-Pop music, film and television.
Ninness was Co-producer on the Korean film The Suspect with Gong Yoo for Showbox/Mediaplex, and Producer of the independent features Few Options with Kenny Johnson and Rainn Wilson and My Stretch of Texas Ground with director Erich Kemp. In 2020, Ninness is Producer on the feature horror films The Darkness with Saw film franchise director Darren Bousman and Ibos with director Tim Donner.
