Why can't there be a GOOD 3D Mega Man game (read OP)?

Answer: There is, try playing the Megaman Legends series.
"Why can't Retro Studios do with Mega Man what they did with Metroid?"
Answer: Because Capcom has put a lockdown on their most favored mascot and Retro is probably doing it's own thing

I would mention Mega Man: Legends, but I only played it for a minute years ago.
I did play MMX7 and liked it, but that's my opinion.

Legends 1 and 2 are def worth the play through if you never have.
I like the Mega Man Legends games.

There was an FPS Megaman X game...that was cancelled. And it looked terrible imo, Megaman doesn't need the Metroid Prime treatment at all. But I agree that there needs to be a good 3D game, one that takes cues from the classics. Megaman legends felt like it's own thing, and personally I didn't like it but that's just my opinion...
