I'm going to have to go with MGS2, as unpopular as that is. The story was epic and even though I hated playing with Raiden, I appreciated Solid Snake a lot more from Raiden's perspective.
Almost a tie for me between Metal Gear Solid and Sons of Liberty.
Vote for the first one cause it's simply such a legendary, iconic game, but they're pretty much equally deserving of a win here.

I find it incredibly difficult to separate MGS1, 2, and 3.
I'll go with -
MGS2 > MGS3 >= MGS1 > MGSV > PW > MGS4

My favorite is 2, but I only really don't care for 3, Portable Ops, and Phantom Pain. The rest are all good.
