AEW fans are all over the internet saying that the last 4 PPV's (Forbidden Door II, All In, All Out, WrestleDream) is the 4 best consecutive PPV's in history

I'm not there myself, to me personally, that goes to

-Double or Nothing 2021
-All Out 2021
-Full Gear 2021
-Revolution 2022

But what do you guys think is the best run of four straight PPV's? Were it 3 a top contender would be RR01/NWO/X-7, but both Armageddon 2000 and Backlash 01 drag the average down a lot.

So what say you?

I’d have to think about it, but WWE also recently had a hot streak right after Triple H took over creative.

It's surprisingly hard to think of a near perfect 4 way stretch of ppvs from any company. I would say All Out 2021, Full Gear 2021, Revolution 2022, DON 2022 beats out Forbidden Door 2 through WrestleDream though.

Personal favorite goes to the stretch that got me into wrestling:

Armageddon 2000
Royal Rumble 2001
No Way Out 2001
Wrestlemania X7

My personal favorite, nostalgia for sure

SummerSlam 2002
Unforgiven 2002
No Mercy 2002
Survivor Series 2002
I'd go with this too. Rewatched them all recently apart from S/Series which is next on my playlist. Though Rumble 04 onwards was pretty great too. Maybe I'll watch them all again next and revisit my thoughts. SummerSlamm '02 was amazing though.

I will add that I haven't watched any AEW PPV's except the most recent 3-4, so I'd be keen to see what their stretch of 4 PPV's outdoes it, because I've been really enjoying AEW now I've started watching them. Missed pretty much all of Punk's run against MJF, which looks super fun from the little story montages I've watched.

Great thread idea. Deew already covered the 2002 PPVs so I'll go with 2000. Probably my favorite overall year alongside 2003

Backlash
Judgement Day
King of the Ring
Fully Loaded

That run was crazy.

See, I don't think this last run was the best either, because I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when I point out All In was a solid 7/10

Omega/Christian
Punks Return to wrestling
Lucha Bros/Bucks cage
Cole/Danielson debuting
Miro/Kingston

I mean I wouldn't say this was their best workrate ppv, but as a show it felt more big time than most of their ppvs to date.

No I'm talking about All IN and why the run with All Out 2021 beats the run of Forbidden door to WrestleDream
