What game do you recommend to me to play first?

I know it sounds silly since people could say start from the beginning with the NES ones, but since I live in the UK they are incredibly rare and expensive, so maybe ones on the snes or megadrive or the playstation or something. Are there any that could be recommended to me?

I would say try out either bloodlines on the megadrive or super castlevania IV on the Snes. Bloodlines is great because its still challenging but not too hard.

NES ones should be on the virtual console, if you have a Wii or a Wii U. As well as Rondo, Super, and several others. There's even an old-school-style wii e-shop only Castlevania game as well.

SOTN but after playing that you might be a little disappointed with the rest. Play Lament of Innocence for a 3d atmosphere you should still try to download the first one but make sure its not the remake
