Cerrone had the takedowns, while short lived was more than bendo did on the ground, plus Henderson didn't really land and significant strikes while cowboy landed a couple key head kicks. The fact was this fight was pretty uneventful, they just looked like they were doing things. Cowboy did enough to get the win

i think too much emphasis is placed on the takedowns when more than 95% of the rest of the fight was standing up. according to judging criteria striking or grappling have priority, between the two priority goes to where majority of the round took place. when it came to striking henderson landed more strikes and more significant strikes.

only drawback is that he landed a big PERCENTAGE of strikes to the leg, overall having more strikes still would equate or be slightly behind cerrones strikes in a matter of volume.
