Thoughts on this years Formula 1 cars?

Most seem to think they're ugly, to me a formula car looks like a formula car, I don't find most particularly ugly but I don't find most attractive either.

To point out the elephant in the room, to me most of them appear to have grown a penis, could it be something to do with turbos? Or is it because since the engines have gotten smaller the cars have gotten shorter in length and so they're just making up on the length to comply with the rules?

I like the way Merc and Ferrari approached it best myself, Merc more so, so I guess that' my favourite at this point. Just because the nose of those have a bit of a classic feel to them, reminiscent of the 70's I believe.

Yeah, a couple of em are actually good looking, but most look a little too phallic...either that, or the designers have been watching too much Sponebob:
